Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the RemuWalls mobile application (package identifier: com.remuwalls, hereby referred to as “Application”) created and operated by Appnexia Studio (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) as a Freemium (Free & Subscription) service.

By downloading, accessing, registering an account (via Email or Continue with Google), or utilizing the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application. By using the Application, you represent and confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.

1. Intellectual Property & Wallpaper License

All source code, UI designs, trademarks, logos, database structures, and curated wallpaper collections within the Application remain the intellectual property of the Service Provider or its respective content licensors. Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, decompiling, modification of the Application, or extraction of its source code is strictly prohibited.

The Application grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, apply, and sync wallpapers solely for personal, non-commercial use on your mobile device and your paired partner's device. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit wallpapers obtained from the Application.

2. Account Registration, Google Sign-In & Security

Certain features of the Application—including Real-Time Partner Sync, cloud favorites, and subscription management—require an authenticated account. You may register and sign in using either a valid Email and Password or Continue with Google (Google OAuth 2.0 / Android Credential Manager).

• Google Account Authentication: When you sign in using Continue with Google, you authorize the Application to verify your identity via your Google Account ID Token and basic profile (email and display name) in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Google's Terms of Service.
• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and the security of your mobile device.
• Single Active Sync Device: To ensure reliable wallpaper delivery, your Partner Sync token is linked to your active signed-in device. Signing into your account on a new phone updates your active sync destination, and logging out releases that device's sync token.

3. Subscriptions, Billing, Daily Quotas & Rewarded Ads

The Application offers both a Free tier (with a daily Partner Sync quota and ad-supported access) and optional paid RemuWalls PRO subscription plans (Starter, Plus, and Unlimited) that unlock higher or unlimited daily partner syncs, premium 4K & couple wallpapers, and an ad-free experience.

• Google Play Billing & Auto-Renewal: All subscriptions are billed through your Google Play Account and automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Managing or Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store app (Profile -> Payments & subscriptions -> Subscriptions). Uninstalling the Application or deleting your RemuWalls account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
• Daily Sync Quotas & Rewarded Video Credits: Free-tier and tiered plans have server-enforced daily UTC Partner Sync quotas. Free-tier users may optionally watch rewarded video advertisements (verified via AdMob Server-Side Verification) to earn bonus sync credits. Manipulation or abuse of ad reward callbacks is strictly prohibited.
• Refunds: All billing and refund requests are governed by Google Play's official refund policies.

4. User-Generated Content & Acceptable Use

The Application allows you to select, upload, crop, and sync visual content (wallpapers) with a paired partner. You retain ownership of any personal images you sync from your device, but you agree NOT to upload, transmit, or sync content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains non-consensual intimate imagery or nudity.
• Exploits or harms minors in any way (zero tolerance for CSAM/CSAE).
• Is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or promotes hate speech or discrimination.
• Depicts graphic violence, self-harm, or illegal acts.
• Infringes upon the copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of any third party.

The Service Provider enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who violate these guidelines, without prior notice or refund.

5. Partner Pairing & Content Responsibility

The Application enables you to pair your account with another user via a unique invite code to utilize the Real-Time Partner Sync feature. You are strictly responsible for whom you share your invite code with. By pairing with a partner, you consent to allowing your partner to remotely update your device's home screen and/or lock screen wallpaper. The Service Provider assumes no liability for any unwanted, inappropriate, or unexpected wallpapers synced to your device by your paired partner. You maintain full control to unpair your connection at any time within the Application.

6. Third-Party Services & Terms

The Application integrates third-party services (including Google Identity Services for OAuth Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Firebase, AdMob, and Supabase) that operate under their own Terms and Conditions:

7. Connectivity & Network Charges

Core functions of the Application—including Google Sign-In, browsing 4K wallpapers, and Real-Time Partner Sync—require an active internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile data. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of connectivity, battery optimization restrictions imposed by your device manufacturer, or exhausted data allowances.

If you use the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's data rates and roaming charges apply, for which you accept full responsibility.

8. Copyright & DMCA Takedown Policy

Appnexia Studio respects the intellectual property rights of artists and creators. If you believe that any wallpaper or material available through the Application infringes upon your copyright, please send a formal notice containing the work's identifier/screenshot, proof of ownership, and your contact details to remuwalls@appnexia.com, and we will promptly investigate and remove infringing content.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Application is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that you experience as a result of relying on the Application, sync delays, or device battery usage.

By using the Application, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Appnexia Studio from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal fees arising out of your breach of these Terms or the content you upload, sync, or share with your paired partner.

10. Account Deletion & Termination

The Service Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time if you violate these Terms. You also retain the right to terminate your relationship with the Application at any time by permanently deleting your account and all associated data.

11. Service Modifications & Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue features of the Application or revise these Terms of Use periodically. You agree to accept application updates when offered via Google Play to maintain compatibility with Partner Sync and billing services.

We will notify you of any changes to these Terms by posting the updated Terms of Use on this page. Your continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
